A few articles I've read recently including this interesting interview, have given me cause to wish for a feature popular in text editors and word processors. The feature I'm referring to is split view editing. If you have a long document and frequently need to refer to the earlier parts of the document it can be very handy and save you a lot of time and frustration.
In the interview I linked to above the first question mentions a specific article published by each interviewee. I found I wanted to refer back to the first question as I read through the interview because it's difficult to remember which author wrote which article, especially when you're not familiar with the authors. In this situation it would have been very handy to be able to split the view and keep the first question in view, while reading through the other questions. It would have saved me a lot of scrolling!
